Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address, your self-declared birth year, and your gender. If the year you enter means you turn 18 this year, we also ask for your birth month; if that month is the current month, we ask for your birth day. Your birth day is used only to confirm eligibility and is not stored. Your birth details are never shown to other members.
Nickname: the name you choose. It is public within your rooms.
Consent records: when and which versions of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy you accepted, and where in the app you accepted them.
Languages and coarse location: the languages you declare, and the broad (city-level) location associated with rooms you create or join. We do not collect exact street addresses.
Conversation and activity data: the messages you post in rooms, and basic activity signals used to keep rooms healthy.

2. How we use your data

Your email signs you in and receives account messages. Your self-declared age and gender are collected once to confirm you are 18 or over and to place you in compatible rooms. Your need text is used to understand what you are looking for and to help build or find the right room. AI models may process this on third-party infrastructure outside your region — a current list of providers is published on our AI providers page.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data, and we do not serve ads.
We do not show your real name or email to other members.
We do not verify your age against documents — eligibility is self-declared.

4. Retention and deletion

Chat messages are kept for the life of the room, plus 90 days after the room is archived. Conversation data is retained for up to 30 days for safety and quality, then deleted. You may delete your account and its associated data at any time by contacting privacy@aggilo.com (international) or privacy@aggilo.in (India).

5. Who we serve

We currently serve users in parts of South East Asia, the Middle East and some parts of North America. If you access Aggilo from elsewhere, your data may be transferred to or processed in the countries where our AI providers operate.

6. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we notify you by email and update the version and date above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
